Your Responsibilities
As our most experienced Team Lead in the ESG Research team in Toronto, you will play a key role in supporting cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding client impact. You’ll guide ESG research analysts and work closely with other departments to align insights and strategies that enhance our client relationships. By bridging data with decision-making, you’ll drive meaningful change and advance our mission of responsible business practices. Your role will include:
Lead and Mentor: Guide the Toronto ESG research analysts, fostering an inclusive and innovative culture. Act as a mentor and sparring partner to research analysts while also learning the ropes on RepRisk’s ESG scope and methodology.
Client Engagement: Navigate client meetings with ease and explain methodologies clearly, providing ESG advisory services and data-driven insights to enhance client relationships.
Project Management: Oversee a variety of projects, collaborating with internal teams such as key account management, marketing, and product management.
Research and Insights: Lead comprehensive research using RepRisk data to uncover trends and generate insights, establishing thought leadership in the ESG space.
Professional Development: Develop and implement strategies to upskill team members, ensuring continuous professional growth and alignment with industry best practices.
Strategic Integration: Drive the integration of ESG research and insights into broader business strategies, contributing to the organization’s growth and success.
You Offer
Experience: 10+ years in leadership roles within data or sustainable investing.
Skills: Exceptional communication, team management, and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to navigate and lead change effectively.
Client-Facing Experience: Direct experience in consulting or the financial industry, with a strong business acumen and a result-oriented approach.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced MS Office skills. Familiarity with data analysis tools is a plus.
Education: An MBA or master’s degree is preferred.
