Your Responsibilities

As the Director of Data Curation, you will take charge of guiding, enabling and scaling a dynamic team of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data analysts. Your focus will be on driving operational performance, fostering leadership at all levels, and streamlining our data curation processes for maximum impact. Reporting to the Head of ESG Research in Zurich, Switzerland, you’ll be a vital member of the Manila leadership team as well as the global data management team at RepRisk.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead with vision: Provide clear operational guidance and inspire leadership at all levels, ensuring a focus on high performance, client satisfaction, and organizational excellence.
  • Transform and scale: Shape and implement a roadmap to grow and optimize the ESG data analyst organization, emphasizing innovative approaches and operational efficiency.
  • Drive results through others: Coach and mentor multiple leadership layers within the team, creating a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and development.
  • Optimize processes: Oversee the efficiency, quality, and effectiveness of data curation activities, identifying opportunities to improve workflows and adopt cutting-edge AI solutions.
  • Collaborate for impact: Work closely with technology teams and other departments to seamlessly integrate human intelligence into machine learning models, ensuring precision and effectiveness in our data products.
  • Be a change agent: Advocate for innovation and transformation in data curation, championing human-in-the-loop operations and driving lasting organizational improvements.

You Offer

  • Leadership and Strategy: 15+ years managing large, diverse teams, including 5+ years leading leaders, with a proven ability to drive change, deliver results, and optimize data curation in complex environments.

  • People and Culture: Expertise in coaching, mentoring, and developing talent across all levels, fostering collaboration, trust, and accountability.

  • Operational Excellence: Strong skills in planning, project management, and process improvement, with a focus on innovation and performance optimization.

  • Global and Technical Acumen: Experience working in multicultural teams with a client-focused approach and integrating technology into data operations (human-in-the-loop models is a plus).

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in data, information management, or a related field, is required (master’s preferred).
